Common questions
How do I set my region?
Open the app and enter your ZIP code, pick your state, or allow location access. Your region is saved on your device, and the app works offline once it's set.
Do I need an account?
No. Finding native plants for your region works with no account at all. An account is only needed to save plants, post photos or tips, and suggest plants.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, your contributions, and your uploaded images.
How do I report a photo or block someone?
Tap the Report button on any community photo or tip to flag it, or block a contributor to hide all of their posts from your view.
Why don't I see a plant I expected?
Wildways only shows plants documented as genuinely native to your specific ecoregion, cross-checked against each plant's real climate and elevation niche. If you think something is missing, use Suggest a plant in the app.
