These are the terms for user-submitted photos and tips ("Contributions") in the Wildways app, published by Biota Mfg.

1. You must own what you post

By submitting a Contribution you confirm that:

• The photo is your own, or you have the rights/permission to share it.
• You are not uploading anyone else's copyrighted photo, and the image does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or privacy right.
• The content follows these guidelines (native plants only; no people, personal information, offensive, or off-topic material).

The app requires you to check a box affirming this before every upload, and that attestation is recorded.

2. License you grant

You keep ownership of your photos. You grant Wildways (Biota Mfg) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your Contribution within the Wildways app and its promotion of the app. You can delete your Contributions at any time, which ends that license going forward.

3. Acceptable use — zero tolerance

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. No content that is infringing, unlawful, sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, spam/advertising, or unrelated to native plants and pollinators. We screen uploads automatically before they appear, and we remove violating content and eject abusive users within 24 hours of a valid report. You can Report any Contribution and block any contributor from within the app; a blocked contributor's posts are hidden from you.

4. Reporting & takedown (DMCA)

Anyone can flag content in the app with the Report button (including a "Copyright" reason). Rights holders who are not app users can send a takedown notice to wildways@biotamfg.co including:

• identification of the copyrighted work,
• the location (which plant / which photo) of the allegedly infringing material,
• your contact information,
• a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the rights holder.

We remove or disable properly-noticed material promptly and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

5. No guarantee

We screen content in good faith but cannot guarantee every Contribution is rightfully owned or appropriate. Use the Report tools; we act on valid notices.
